  As some of you may know, yesterday at around 22:00~22:30 (UTC), outgoing links to MediaFire started triggering Wikia's spam filter, thus preventing editors from publishing their edits on pages with such links. At the moment, we are waiting on Wikia's response to our message regarding this issue and we hope to have it resolved soon.

  Please DO NOT go around removing MediaFire links from articles. Not only is that counter-productive, but if Wikia decides to permit us to link to MediaFire, then that's more work to reinstate them again.

  Also, I'd rather you didn't go spreading doomsday rumours about the MUGEN Database or M.U.G.E.N itself dying just because of this; we had enough of that in the chat yesterday.

  UPDATE: It would appear you can edit sections of articles with MediaFire links, providing the section you are editing doesn't contain any such links.

  UPDATE 2: MediaFire links no longer trigger the spam filter. All is normal again!

  • This issue has past, so it doesn't really matter if you understand it or not. What does matter is that you're still speaking Spanish on an English wiki despite being told not to. I don't mind if you want to speak Spanish on your userpage or a Spanish-speaking user's Message Wall, but not in communicative places such as the mainspace, the chat or the forums.

    There exists a Spanish version of this wiki, so if you have trouble speaking English, it's probably best if you go there.

    I dunno, something about the M.U.G.E.N Database being an English Language wiki or something...

    The link to the Spanish version of Database has been given to him multiple times, so it's not like he hasn't been given a fair warning.

  • That bit is not necessarily a problem, as most stuff there can be download and re-hosted on MediaFire.What's more concerning is that wikia now seem to be targeting us, as it's highly unlikely that other wikias have links to the Archive, unless Darklight666 has gone around spam-posting Archive links on other wikis.

  • The MUGEN Archive wasn't banned, it was only because there was a SendSpace link on said page.

    To bypass the disabled MEGA links, use the new beta version of MEGA. Wika won't recognize it, and therefore, the links can be edited.
